The Challenge
The key challenge was to design and operate a high-traffic Magento 1 multistore for a leading Swiss healthcare e-commerce retailer serving millions of users, while continuously scaling performance, reliability, and complex business integrations. A major final milestone was executing a full migration to OpenMage without disrupting operations, all during organizational transition following the retailer’s integration into a larger pharmaceutical group.
